Largo (Dvořák) in women’s camp, Sumatra-Indonesia during 2nd World War

During the 2nd World War, in the women’s camp, Sumatra-Indonesia, the prisoners tried to find a way dealing with all the misery. They remembered one song but they had no score nor the musical instrument. They decided to sing the music without words. It was Largo by Dvořák from the 9th Symphony (From the New World). To celebrate the 75 years of liberation, NPO Radio 4 (The Netherlands) provides a four-parts SATB choir arrangement of the piece.
